Timing is everything and patience pays off
I’ve been blessed to have lived in several states.
And for as long as I have lived in Indiana, I could never wait to leave.
There’s a running joke about Indiana…it’s a blackhole state that seems to keep you here.
Like you got stuck on 465 and could never find a way off, so you just take an exit and get a home.
After nearly two decades in Indiana, I’ve learned a lot about Midwest living…
In a way, I completely understand why so many movies and shows were centered around Indiana and “weird” things happening.
Indiana has been a unique experience to say the least.
You just had to be there.
If you’ve moved to Indiana from elsewhere (especially if it’s not from another Midwestern state), then you get it.
Several times I’d try to move away…
And every single time, something would come up.
But now?
Not this time.
For the last two years specifically, I have been searching nonstop for a place that suited Me, My needs, My wants, and more.
More than what Indiana could ever offer Me.
I can confidently say that a chapter in My life did not wrap up….
A whole fucking book has been completed and now I am stepping into a brand new book to begin writing the next chapters of My life.
To say I’m beyond thrilled is an understatement…
My holler of excitement could pierce the sky and be heard throughout the state from how overjoyed I am.
This has been long overdue while simultaneously being worth the wait.
I moved out of State and it’s about damn time.
Smell ya later Indianapolis.
I ditched the numbing flatness and assaulting wind for mountains.
My Dirt-Femme heart is happy beyond measure.
